What I am Reading and The Essence of Blogging ver.2.0

A quickie on what I am reading....

Women In Love - just started
TAZ - still reading, though sits on my nightstand more often than the rest
A Field Guide to Getting Lost - still reading
City Of Quartz - taken a slight break from

On the Spirit of Blogging part 2

I concur with Beneficence.
May we reinstate a vote around on the next book, maybe at a time that is a little more accessible for everyone? Or, at the very least, present a voting path that can be done on the blog and have wild orgiastic booq club meetings over brunch? An early morning meeting is limited to the few that can make it and does seem unintentionally exclusive.

thank you for sharing your reading menu, lady saffron.

unintentionally exclusive? are you serious? oy! i have a headache. please refer to the comments left on 'the essence of blogging part 1'

being random is a beautiful thing & that's what that meeting was. democracy is for pussies. i am all for anarchy NOW & chaotic clusters of FUCK (it)! wild orgiastic meetings welcomed.

i dont understand what that big deal is about this YANINA AND SUZANNE...
the point of a bookclub is to be COOPERATIVE and to SHARE..if it was about anarchy and self centeredness...then why not have a one man bookclub where u dont take into account other people? If i had known this fromthe get go I could have made an informed choice..but seems like u guys changed some stuff and didnt clue in others...and suzanne that little bit about holding your own life in your own hands or whaetever...pleezzz....LOL its all i can say to that silliness....now Im not pissed or anything but it seems antithetical to a book CLUB to not consider others...but if ya'll want it that way..than whatevs..go for it y'all :)

I feel I should say some-a-thing. Not to explain why I called such a fucked-up meeting - that seems to be understood.

But I have to mention that I didn't mean for it to be THE meeting. It was A meeting, and was not meant to be exclusive. Difficult? yes. In fact - I nearly missed it myself.
